Upper extremity deep venous thrombosis (UEDVT) usually refers to thrombosis of the axillary or subclavian veins. UEDVT is much less common than its lower extremity counterpart, constituting only about 5% of all documented DVTs. UEDVT due to wasp bite is not reported yet. We, therefore, hereby present a rare case of UEDVT in a 44 year old male who had history of wasp bite leading to development of right subclavian vein thrombosis which shows that wasp bite is also among the rarest causes of UEDVT.References
